Lovely place. Love the sushi chef. Super nice and friendly. Love the omakase

Run by the owner and wife the service is a little slow as it's just the two of them but always very friendly.Quality of sushi is amazing and super authentic. Great place to come if you want to do omakase and don't mind a bit of a wait. Best to get a reservation for omakase at the bar and chef will serve you one piece at a time.

First off, let me just say that if you primarily enjoy eating rolls and do not eat raw fish, this restaurant is not for you. I had the omakase for $35. Great selection of fish with some very good cuts and many fatty tuna cuts. Even the lowest grade fish was better than other restaurants. Among the best sushi I've ever had in Vancouver. The only sushi I would say was better was the omakase I had at the fish market in Tokyo. I highly recommend this home in the wall gem. The Japanese owner couple are extremely warm and welcoming. Definitely make a reservation as space is very limited.
